Izzy, also known as Izzy Gizzy Girl, is a gorgeous, sweetie of a girl!

A very well 'put together' young lady, indeed!  For "starters", she has wonderful bone, substance, fore chest, a solid top line and lovely headpiece.  Add to those qualities her sweet, soft expression, incredibly clean movement and carriage... you've got a few of the reasons for her very quick finish to AKC Championship with very limited showing!

At 10 months of age, Izzy made her ring debut winning RWB and then 1st from the BBE class - though it was competitive, feisty sister & litter-mate Fuzion who enjoyed the WB Major that day - on her first show - from the 9-12 month puppy class :-)

One month later, at 11 months of age, and her very next showing - 2 days each in Spokane, WA and then Coeur d'Alene, ID, with exhibitors changing each day - Izzy nearly finished her championship all in one weekend!

Winning Winners Bitch from a 1 pt show (Judge Norman Patton), followed by 3 majors:  WB/BOW/BOB over Specials for 3 pts (Judge Linda Moore), 4 pts (Judge Gloria Kerr) and then WB/BOW for 5 pts (Judge Alvin Krause) - - she accumulated 13 points!  At some point during those shows, AKC Handler Kevin Chestnut (and an awesome mentor to me) said to me at ringside, "She just goes in and does what she's supposed to do."  Well, he's right!  That is her "style" - no muss, no fuss.

With a small show before winter set in, Izzy won another point (almost the last two - darn, we had one absent entry!) with a WB/BOW/BOS (Judge Nancy Byrd).

Then in April, 2011, Izzy showed her first show and only show of 2011 at Lewiston, ID, winning WB/BOW for another 5 pt major to finish under Judge James White!  "True to her no fuss, no muss style" could not be more accurate, because we had no power, no water, no heat, no baths... but Izzy walked into that ring amongst a very large, beautiful entry and did her Izzy thing.  Finishing her Championship with 19 points and 4 majors!

She was promptly relegated to the life of liesure that a lady in waiting should have... as a very special breeding had taken place and, as it turned out... she was pregnant with her beautiful, beautiful boy "Neo"!  You can see the special dude under our 'Litters' page.

Always shown on my lead, from the Bred-by-Exhibitor Class, Izzy is an AKC Eukanuba Invitee for 2011 and will be for 2012 as well.

Izzy is a very special girl... above all else, she is an absolute sweetheart and a very, very birdy one at that!  So for awhile, she's just enjoying teaching her young son the delights of birding.
